It is unfortunate to see an athlete have to retire because of injury. That is exactly what happened on Friday, as Rick Nash retired from the NHL citing concussion related symptoms.

John Tavares scores twice recording hitting mile marker 300 and 301 as the Maple Leafs defeat the Devils.

Technology can make things worse or better. NHL is hoping for the latter as new technology has been created to track player stats for gambling purposes.

The Buffalo Sabres are getting back to full strength as Jack Eichel is practicing and could be back in the lineup soon.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will ride with Matt Murray and Casey DeSmith as their goalie tandem of the future as  DeSmith signed a new three-year contract extension.

After being suspended for a game by the team, Sergei Bobrovsky and the Columbus Blue Jackets are back on the same page.

As the Ottawa head out to California, the Senators with back to back wins continue to overcome the odds.
