Today’s stories include William Nylander’s debut spoiled, Devils find rare win, Ugly incident at the end of the Wild-Flames game, Injuries piling up in Ottawa, Red Wings continue to show progress, and Colorado’s offense explodes in win.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs back at full strength, they look to get a win on Thursday night. However, the Detroit Red Wings had only plans, as they spoiled William Nylander’s return.

As the Devils continue to struggle, Kyle Palmieri scored twice as the Devils get a rare win.

In Calgary’s 2-0 win over Minnesota, an ugly incident occurred. Ryan Lomberg was suspended for instigating a fight and head coach Bill Peters was fined.

As the Ottawa Senators try to remain relevant, the team will be down two players as Matt Duchene and Bobby Ryan are both injured.

Despite being in a rebuild, the Detroit Red Wings continue to prove they can hang with the best teams in the NHL.

After underperforming against Pittsburgh, the Colorado Avalanche’s offense exploded in win over Florida.
